As the chinese would say, long time no see! (No, seriously, apparently the americans got the expression "long time no see" from the chinese 好久不见 - Long Time No See - )
Anyway, long time indeed. It's just I am very busy right now pretending I know what I am doing at work. Yeah I am apparently almost employed. "Almost" because I haven't seen my working visa and so my contract yet. But it should be fixed soon with me going to Hong Kong for free and have my new working visa.
Which means I'm going to live here for at least a year. And then who knows. But my company has branches all over the world so it shouldn't be diffcult to change location in the future.
All I know that I get shamefully well paid to do not only something I like to do, but also for something I'm not even good at! But so far I'm good enough to make them think I know what I'm doing. Hope I get to sign the contract before it's too late.
What's my job then? Well, if I have to describe it in two words, I am working as a "blond girl". You know, the stereotypical blonde girl, huge tits and no brain? Well, that's me 8 hours per day.
Well, it's not really like that, but that's pretty much how I feel. Hopefully I'll reach higher positions in the company with time. So far, can't really complain, I get paid more then I could EVER get paid in Italy. Plus China is so cheap that I can save almost all my money.
Enough talking, here's few pictures!
This is the place I usually work in. No CROCS allowed. I love it.
Non chiedetemi il perchè sti Koreani del menga hanno chiamato il caffè come Lugo di Romagna perchè non ne ho idea...
Everything is home-made, bread, cakes and even the coffe
This is instead the second venue I work at the moment. It's an american style buffet/bistro kind of place. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS
Questa foto merita una piccola parentesi Italiana: questa è una vera forma di parmigiano costata 1000 euro in cui la sera ci cuciniamo direttamente la pasta col Bacardi. Mica cazzi.
This is apparently the REAL chair in which President Kennedy used to rest
E per finire ecco la scritta cinese ridicoloide del giorno:
It really is(n't)!
