Japan day 5: some more Fuji, Ghibli museum and Kill Bill restaurant

First of all, take this two morning shots of Mt. Fuji

The Otaku

No traveller. Get ready for two Otaku days.

Left Kawaguchi-ko, I got back to Tokyo, only to take a train to the outskirts.

Destination: Ghibli Museum

What's Ghibli? Never heard of Totoro? Stop reading, now. Go on google and look it up. Better even, find Totoro's movie and watch it. Now.

You know Ghibli? Did you go watch the movie? Keep reading.

Are you lying?

God's looking at you. Don't waste your life no more. Do yourself a favor.
WATCH TOTORO
(or any other Studio Ghibli's movie )

So, AS YOU KNOW ALREADY, Studio Ghibli is Japanese Disney.
Only better that Disney

This is their museum. I wished I could have taken move photos, but it was forbidden

So this is only few shots I was able to catch

You could breath the magic....

These are some original sketches in preparation for the movies... <3

Then, after the magic, I went for dinner with my ex-shanghai-flatmate which now lives in Tokyo (lucky B...! I'll be back!) not in some random place, but in Gonpachi restaurant, the famous restaurant in which THIS Kill Bill scene was filmed!

( if you don't know Kill Bill as well, I wonder why do you waste your time living )

The Weird

I'll leave you with two interesting items...the first is an alcoholic beverage in a...fruit juice brick! 12 degrees as well, dayum!

the second one is a Japanese interpretation (racist?) of a Chinese dumpling ^^

Next episode, Akihabara...the Otaku subculture capital of the world!

Where animation, videogames and porn melt together in the weirdest way possible!
